If you make a payment on a different network than you selected for your wallet transfer, then the payment will not succeed. This is because the wallet that is shown for the payment, is designated to receive a specific currency on a specific network only.
Example;
The customer initiates a wallet transfer payment, selecting USDC on Polygon. They proceed to make the payment sending USDC on Ethereum. The customer paid the full amount, but the payment does not show as succeeded.
In this example the customer sent their payment on the Ethereum network, while they should have sent it on the Polygon network.
If this happens, you can contact support. In most cases using the wrong network results in total loss of funds, but in some cases we will be able to recover it.
If we are able to recover the payment, then we can make a refund. For this we do charge a non-negotiable recovery fee of 1%/with a minimum of $15 per recovery.
When contacting support for a payment issue, always share the following:
- TXN/txid link
- Payment link
