I paid with the wrong currency, what now?

What happens when you make a payment using a different currency than selected for your wallet transfer

If you make a payment with a currency other than what you selected for your wallet transfer, then the payment will not succeed. This is because the wallet that is shown for the payment, is designated to receive a specific currency on a specific network only.

Example;
The customer initiates a wallet transfer payment, selecting USDC on Polygon. They proceed to make the payment sending USDT on Polygon. The customer paid the full amount, but the payment does not show as succeeded.

In this example, the customer sent USDT while they should have sent USDC.

If this happens, you can contact support. In most cases sending the wrong currency results in total loss of funds, but in some cases we will be able to recover it.

If we are able to recover the funds, then we can make a refund. For this we do charge a non-negotiable recovery fee of 1% (with a minimum of $15) per recovery.

When contacting support with a payment issue, always share the following:
- TXN/txid link
- Payment link
